Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with True Loom Studio. We want every order of boys’ clothing and girls’ coordinated sets to arrive ready for the moments they are intended for—school days, family gatherings, celebrations, vacations, playtime, photographs, and everyday adventures.
Because children’s apparel is particularly sensitive to hygiene, wear, washing, stains, and changes in condition, our return procedures are designed to balance customer convenience with the condition in which garments must be received in order to be resold.
This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through https://www.trueloomstudio.world/ and forms part of the Terms of Service governing purchases from True Loom Studio.
1. Our General Return Window
Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days after the date the order is delivered.
To qualify for a standard return, the merchandise should:
- Be unworn and unused;
- Be in its original, resaleable condition;
- Be free from stains, food marks, makeup, pet hair, strong odors, smoke odors, or other contamination;
- Not have been washed, dry-cleaned, altered, repaired, or otherwise modified;
- Have all original tags, labels, accessories, and accompanying components where applicable;
- Include the original packaging when reasonably available; and
- Be accompanied by sufficient order information to allow us to identify the purchase.
A customer may reasonably inspect a garment for size, style, color, fabric, and general suitability. However, extensive use, washing, wearing outdoors, or removing identifying labels may make an item ineligible for a preference-based return.
2. Clothing-Specific Return Requirements
For apparel, we strongly recommend that customers inspect garments indoors and keep them clean and unworn while deciding whether to retain them.
Items may not be accepted as ordinary returns if they show evidence of:
- Washing or drying;
- Fragrance, detergent, or fabric-softener residue;
- Food or beverage stains;
- Grass, dirt, mud, paint, ink, or similar marks;
- Pet hair or animal odors;
- Smoke or strong environmental odors;
- Stretching, tearing, snagging, or excessive wrinkling caused by use;
- Alteration, tailoring, embroidery, or other customization performed after delivery; or
- Damage caused by improper handling or care.
This condition requirement is particularly important for boys’ clothing and girls’ sets because garments may come into close contact with skin, food, outdoor surfaces, and other materials during normal childhood activities.
3. How to Request a Return
Before sending anything back, customers should contact:
Email: [email protected]
Please include:
- Customer name;
- Order number;
- Email address used at checkout;
- Item or items the customer wishes to return;
- Reason for the requested return; and
- Photographs where the issue involves damage, defect, incorrect merchandise, or visible condition concerns.
Customers should wait for return instructions before shipping merchandise to the return address. Sending a package without sufficient identifying information may delay processing.
4. Returns for Change of Mind, Size, Style, or Preference
If an item was ordered in the wrong size, the customer changed their mind, selected an unsuitable style, or simply no longer wants the item, the return may be accepted if it satisfies the conditions in this policy.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly authorized by True Loom Studio, the customer is generally responsible for the cost of shipping an item back for a preference-based return.
Original shipping charges, if any, may not be refundable when the return is unrelated to a defect, damage, fulfillment error, or other issue attributable to True Loom Studio.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Merchandise
We want customers to receive clothing that is suitable for its intended use.
If merchandise arrives:
- Damaged;
- Torn;
- Stained before use;
- Defective;
- Significantly different from the product ordered;
- In the wrong size because the wrong item was shipped; or
- As a materially incorrect product,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 calendar days after delivery.
Photographs can be extremely helpful in determining whether an issue occurred before delivery, during transit, or after the garment was used.
For verified fulfillment errors, defective merchandise, or qualifying damage occurring before customer use, True Loom Studio may, depending on the circumstances and available inventory:
- Provide a replacement;
- Provide a refund;
- Provide an appropriate partial refund;
- Provide another reasonable remedy; or
- Request that the merchandise be returned for inspection.
Customers will not ordinarily be responsible for return shipping associated with a verified product defect or fulfillment error when True Loom Studio has authorized the return.
6. Refund Processing
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, the refund decision will be processed.
Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Our internal processing period is generally 5–10 business days after the returned merchandise has been received and the return has been approved.
The customer's bank, card issuer, payment processor, or financial institution may require additional time before the refunded amount appears in the account.
7. Partial Refunds and Condition-Related Adjustments
If merchandise has been returned in a condition materially different from the condition in which it was sold, True Loom Studio may determine that the merchandise is not eligible for a full preference-based refund.
Where legally permitted, an appropriate adjustment may be made when an item has diminished resale value because of customer-caused damage, use, washing, staining, missing components, or other condition changes.
Nothing in this provision is intended to exclude any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Exchanges
If a customer wants a different size, color, or style, the customer may contact us to determine whether an exchange is available.
Exchanges depend on current inventory. Because apparel sizes and seasonal styles can sell out quickly, True Loom Studio cannot guarantee that the requested replacement will remain available.
If the desired replacement is unavailable, the customer may instead be offered a refund or another available resolution where appropriate.
9. Final Sale or Non-Returnable Circumstances
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the following may be excluded from ordinary preference-based returns:
- Items clearly identified as final sale;
- Customized or personalized merchandise;
- Merchandise altered at the customer's request;
- Products returned after the applicable return period;
- Items that have been washed or substantially used;
- Items returned with substantial damage caused after delivery; and
- Merchandise that cannot reasonably be resold because of its condition.
Mandatory rights under applicable law are not waived by this section.
10. Florida Refund-Policy Considerations
Florida Statutes § 501.142 addresses retail refund-policy disclosures and provides specific consequences for retailers that do not maintain or properly disclose certain refund policies. Our policy is intended to provide customers with clear written information regarding available returns and refunds.
Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict a consumer right that applicable law expressly provides.
11. No Unauthorized Returns
Customers should not mail merchandise to an address other than the return address or other location specifically provided by True Loom Studio.
Unauthorized returns may experience significant processing delays.
